our process
So you like what we do. You’ll like it even more once you see just how easy it is to work with us. Whether you start out with a sketch on a napkin, an empty space in your house that needs filled, or a complete design intent ready to be made - we have you covered with 3 steps. We do the hard work for you, but we want you involved too!
1. your needs
You have a problem you’re trying to solve. “My record collection is just in a box and needs a home”, “I want a nice setup for my audio equipment“, “I could use a new coffee table“. Sometimes you may not even have a problem, you just want something beautiful in your space. Once you reach out to us via our contact form, email, or phone, we want to help get you to exactly what you want. You’re not alone in this process though. We have a lot of experience, and with that comes a lot of ideas and solutions to offer.
We also want to get to know you! What’s your style? What does your space look like? We like to put our own spin on our furniture, but your character and your personality are just as important in creating the perfect piece for your space. We make this process quick and easy because we want you spending time doing what you love. Then, we can get started on doing what we love.
2. design
This is the start of the fun. This is where you’re going to see all of the thoughts and ideas come to life. We take all of your needs, your wants, your style, and start designing. We start this process with sketches and hand drawings to get an idea on shape, form, color, size, and ergonomics.
Once we have this, we move right to the computer for 3D modeling. We will send you a link to this model, and right in your web browser you can easily look at, rotate, and see inside your future piece.
What do you like? What don’t you like? We’ll take your input and continue adapting the model until it’s perfect for you!
3. let’s build it
Once all of our drawings are finalized and approved by you, we break out our safety glasses and get to building. As you anticipate your truly personalized piece, we will send you photos and videos of our progress. Want to stop by our shop and see our process in person? Come on in! We want you to ride along with us so you can experience just how much care and attention to detail we put into the work we create. Here, we can make minor changes to your piece if you choose.
Finally, the last coat of finish is on your completed piece and ready for delivery or pick up! We want to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your new furniture, and we would be happy to help you install it and get it ready for your space.
